DescriptionTitle: Koshoh (Whispering Light) Year Completed: 2019 Size: H83” × W63” / H210 cm × W160 cm Material: Silk (including Cambodian hand-woven), antique cotton (including natural green plant dyed), new cotton (including hand-dyed) Statement: This is my one hundredth quilt, but it is the first one to use a flower pattern. It is very difficult to create a sense of depth within the Log Cabin pattern; I needed more than ten years to understand how I could make this work. I didn't want to use the exact shape of the tulip, but having flower marks was my first step. |
