Material: old cotton (aizome), new cotton (American hand-dyed), new commercial cotton, Japanese hand-painted cotton, old silk (kimono leftovers), quilting includes sashiko thread, metallic thread

Statement: In Winter columns of ice form around small plants, reflecting brightly on a clear day. As Spring approaches, these ice columns lose their sharpness and gradually become round, losing the reflections as they melt, bit by bit at the very beginning of Spring. Everything in this design is freehand, the absence of straight lines corresponding to nature.
